The Journal of Illiza Research and Studies (JIRS) is a fully open access journal. All published articles are freely and immediately available online upon publication at no cost to readers or authors.

OPEN ACCESS COMMITMENT
The journal is committed to the principles of open access as defined by the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI). This means that all published content is:

- Freely available online immediately upon publication
- Free to read, download, copy, distribute, print, and search
- Free to link to the full text of articles
- Free from any subscription or registration fees for readers

All articles published in JIRS are licensed under the Creative 
Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License 
(CC BY-NC 4.0). This license allows others to:

- Share: copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format

Under the following terms:
- Attribution: appropriate credit must be given to the original authors
- NonCommercial: the material may not be used for commercial purposes

AUTHOR RIGHTS
Authors retain full copyright of their work. By publishing in JIRS 
authors grant the journal the right to publish and distribute their 
work under CC BY-NC 4.0.

PUBLICATION FEES
The journal operates on a completely fee-free model:
- No submission fees
- No article processing fees (APCs)
- No publication fees
- No subscription fees for readers

SELF-ARCHIVING POLICY
Authors are permitted and encouraged to:
- Post their published article on their personal or institutional 
  website
- Deposit their published article in institutional or subject 
  repositories
- Share their published article on academic networks such as 
  ResearchGate and Academia.edu
